David developed his passion for osteopathy after seeking treatment for his own injuries. He saw the benefits of osteopathy’s tailored approach and how it addressed the underlying cause of his pain.
David graduated from Victoria University with a Masters of Health Sciences (Osteopathy) and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences (Osteopathy). During his final year he worked in a supervised community clinic helping treat disadvantaged patients from around Collingwood. David also spent two years working as a sports trainer for Box Hill North Football club, giving him experience in treating many sporting injuries relating to football. In addition, David worked as a personal trainer where he developed his passion for exercise.
David enjoys assisting you to improve your health and wellbeing. He particularly enjoys the challenge of addressing a wide variety of conditions including neck pain, back pain and sporting injuries. He believes good communication and management are key to providing the best improvements for you. David’s treatments typically involve explaining the nature of your injury; providing hands-on treatment and giving clear practical advice on how to manage it. Your management plan will be tailored to your lifestyle. David likes to integrate exercise into his treatments so you may expect to come away with some exercise homework.
Prior to working at Spring Osteo, David studied Commerce at Melbourne University but decided on a career change and followed his passion for helping people. Outside the clinic, David enjoys staying fit, playing hockey, weight training and running.
David is available five days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Friday and Saturday.
