Studio Pilates
Each week, we design a 45-min full body Pilates work-out to music. We cater for most ages, fitness levels and Pilates experience levels. We mainly cater to mums in their 30s and 40s through to women in their 60s and 70s but everyone is welcome and we believe everyone will benefit!
Our classes are limited to four clients providing a safe and comfortable environment for you to work out in. You may use the reformer, trapformer, wunder chair, mat and props working the many different parts of your body.
Our classes focus on injury prevention, muscle strength and tone, postural alignment, balance, flexibility and fitness. Our classes are functional to assist you in your daily life. If you do one of more of the below, our classes could be right for you:
- Lifting young toddlers or sitting in ‘mum’s taxi all afternoon
- Hunched over at your desk, on your phone or laptop
- Gardening
- Pregnant or post-natal and wanting to exercise
- Wishing to improve your balance and coordination
- Wishing to improve your strength, flexibility and/or fitness
We see these classes as a hybrid between our clinical sessions and large reformer classes offered in gyms. They are semi-tailored with a bit of sweat and music creating a fun yet hard-working class. Unlike our clinical exercise programs, we don’t focus on rehabilitation and you can’t claim on your private health. You will need to fill out a medical history form before your first class so we request you arrive ten minutes early.
