Nick’s interest in myotherapy began after he received soft tissue therapy for his own sporting injuries. Nick is a myotherapist because wanted to assist people to find relief from pain and to regain strength and flexibility after injury. He loves when a patient who is pessimistic or defeated by their injury or chronic pain regains confidence in their body and no longer feels constrained by painful limitations. ‘I love being a part of that transformation.’ says Nick.
Nick believes myotherapy looks beyond the symptoms to find the root cause of imbalance in your body and treats your imbalances using a wide variety of techniques. His aim is to get you pain free and strong again and not just provide a band-aid fix.
Nick studied Myotherapy at RMIT and prior to this has five years experience as a remedial massage therapist in a variety of different clinics in Australia and New Zealand. Outside of the clinic he is a swimmer, surfer, spear fisherman and rock climber. He also has a background in Rugby and Rugby League.
Something you may not know about Nick is that he lived in the Islands of Fiji for 20 months and is fluent in the Fijian language. His dream is to sail around the South Pacific while surfing, free diving and scuba diving around the coral reef coast.
