Chronic pain management
Nilusha has always (even as a child) been fascinated by how the human body works, resulting in her completing a Masters in Exercise Rehabilitation and a Bachelor in Applied Science – Human Movement and Health Sciences.
Nilusha will work with you to manage your chronic pain, diseases and injuries using exercise and movement. There is a large preventative aspect to exercise physiology and this is what she enjoys and sees much benefit from.
Having a Pilates background, with training in clinical, reformer, pregnancy and mat Pilates, Nilusha weaves much of her expertise into her Clinical Exercise programs and Studio Pilates classes.
Nilusha has spent many years in corporate health and injury management, she managed ‘return to work’ for work and non-work related injuries as well as managing and running health and wellbeing initiatives. She spent two years recently working in a private practice clinic in Mildura as well as working in outpatient and inpatient hospital rehab settings.
Nilusha loves being outside going on (short) runs. She practices what she preaches and enjoys her regular gym and Pilates sessions as well as recently starting yoga. And one potentially controversial point about Nilusha is she’s a Port Adelaide supporter!!
Nilusha is available Monday, Tuesday and Saturday. We recommend booking a 1:1 exercise physiology appointment first and then speaking to Nilusha about whether to continue with 1:1 sessions or moving to a group session. To make an appointment book online or call 9830 7044
