Angus McQuie
Osteopath
Growing up, Angus played a lot of sports, particularly football and basketball. With sport, came injuries and he found manual therapy did wonders in aiding his return. Ultimately, this experience motivated him to become an osteopath.
Today, Angus is passionate about working with sports people (novice to professional) and assisting them to return to their chosen court or field. He has experience in treating a wide range of sports and athletic injuries with a special interest in football and basketball. Injuries he sees include, but are not limited to, hip, back, and shoulder pain. Basketball also brings jumping injuries – specifically ankles and knees.
In addition to sports injuries, Angus’ special area of interest is back pain. Having worked in the CBD student clinic for two years he saw plenty of office workers with back pain, postural pain, and neck stiffness. Angus has worked with lower and upper back pain; pelvic pain and disc injuries. He has also worked with acute to chronic pain patients.
